Our history began with Turbo-Mech Asia, incorporated in Singapore in 1989 and commenced operation in 1998. Rotodyne Philippines and Rotodyne Brunei was incorporated in 1998. On a separate note, Bayu Purnama was incorporated in 1992 and commenced operation in 1998. As part of a listing scheme, Turbo-Mech acquired 42.5% of Bayu Purnama in 2010, which solidified our presence in Malaysia since then.

The expansion was steady. Turbo-Mech Thailand was incorporated in 1999 and on the same year, the Group was also operating as an authorised sales representative for several high-profile manufacturers.

Turbo-Mech Asia established its head office at Ubi Crescent, Singapore in 2001, and went on to incorporate PT Turbo-Mech Indonesia in 2002. At the same year, Bayu Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bayu Purnama was incorporated. By 2003, more workshops were set up and we eventually achieved the status as a public listed company in 2010.

Further progress since then include acquiring 60% of Ultra Sol Engineering & Trading Sdn Bhd in 2010, and incorporating Turbo-Mech Asia Offshore Pte Ltd in 2014.

As a group, our business was, and still a comprehensive combination of supplying equipment, spare parts and providing after-sales services including maintenance, repairs and overhauls for our equipment manufacturers. Our products cover all manner of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines and fans, as well as skid-mounted equipment.​
